Group Transportation in Council Bluffs Made Easy
The I-480 bridge and the I-80 bridge connect Council Bluffs and Omaha, but getting a large group across them — coordinating parking on both ends, splitting into multiple cars, navigating I-29 construction near the riverfront — is more work than any event night should require. Party Bus In Omaha handles all of it. One bus, one pickup, one drop-off, one flat rate split across your whole group.
Since 2011, we have put together thousands of itineraries for groups across the Omaha–Council Bluffs corridor. Corporate shuttles. Casino nights.
Prom runs. Wedding guest loops between the Bluffs and Omaha reception venues. College World Series fan groups.
Our 24/7 reservation team knows the metro — which exits back up before a Creighton home game, where oversized vehicles wait near the CHI Health Center loading dock, how long it actually takes to cross the river on a Friday night. That local knowledge is built into every quote we produce. You get a single point of contact from the first call to the final drop-off, with exact pricing and no last-minute cost surprises.

Group Transportation Services We Offer in Council Bluffs
Party Bus In Omaha coordinates transportation for every occasion across Council Bluffs and the greater Omaha metro — from airport runs and casino nights to weddings, prom, sporting events, corporate shuttles, and beyond. Whatever brings your group together, we have a vehicle ready. Call 402-973-1398 to get your group moving today!

Council Bluffs Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Eppley Airfield (OMA) (4501 Abbott Dr, Omaha, NE 68110) sits roughly 12 miles from downtown Council Bluffs via I-480 East — about 18 to 25 minutes in normal traffic, longer when westbound merge lanes on the bridge stack up during rush hour. A bus rental in Council Bluffs cuts out the multiple-car problem entirely for larger groups: one vehicle collects everyone at baggage claim on the lower Arrivals level, stores the luggage in undercarriage bays, and takes the group directly to their hotel, event venue, or corporate campus without anyone switching vehicles.
Have your group coordinator call once every bag is in hand and the whole party is assembled — do not summon the bus while half the group is still at carousel three. Pre-arranged cruise-style groups and convention parties use the same process. We track flights from the moment you book, so a delayed inbound does not strand your group at the curb.
Call 402-973-1398 to book your Council Bluffs airport bus rental today.

Council Bluffs Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Council Bluffs has something most cities don't: three casino properties within a short drive of downtown. Harrah's Council Bluffs (1 Harrah's Blvd, Council Bluffs, IA 51501), Ameristar Casino (2200 River Rd, Council Bluffs, IA 51501), and Horseshoe Council Bluffs (2701 23rd Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51501) give a bachelor or bachelorette party three distinct floors to hit in a single night without anyone getting behind the wheel between stops. From there, the Old Market in Omaha is 15 minutes over the bridge for bars and late-night restaurants.
Our 15- to 50-passenger party buses come with a full bar, LED lighting, and a Bluetooth sound system — the pregame starts on the ride and doesn't stop until the last drop-off. No one draws the short straw for designated driver. No splitting the group into separate cars and hoping everyone ends up at the same address at the end of the night.
Call 402-973-1398 to plan your Council Bluffs bachelorette party bus rental.

Council Bluffs Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A party bus arrival is one of the most memorable ways to start a milestone birthday, and the Omaha–Council Bluffs metro has venues that make the most of it. Whether the celebration is heading to a dinner reservation in the Old Market, a Sweet 16 at a reception hall in the Bluffs, or a quinceañera at one of the banquet venues along South Main Street, our 15- to 50-passenger party buses match the group size to the occasion.
Pre-load a custom playlist, coordinate a color scheme, and our team handles pickup logistics so the guest of honor just climbs aboard. For adult milestone birthdays with a casino stop at Ameristar or Harrah's followed by a late-night run to a bar on Howard Street in the Old Market, one bus keeps the whole crew together from the first pickup to the last drop-off. Call 402-973-1398 any time to build your Council Bluffs birthday party bus rental.

Council Bluffs Concert Transportation & Shuttles
The biggest concert draws in the metro operate out of Omaha, and the Council Bluffs-to-Omaha run on a sold-out night is a completely different animal than a normal Friday commute. CHI Health Center Omaha (455 N 10th St, Omaha, NE 68102) fills to 18,300 for arena-level tours, and the streets around 10th and Capitol Avenue back up hours before doors. Steelhouse Omaha (200 S 31st Ave, Omaha, NE 68105) and the Orpheum Theater (409 S 16th St, Omaha, NE 68102) both have limited surrounding parking, and rideshare surge pricing after a late show hits hard.
A Council Bluffs concert bus rental crosses the bridge, drops your group at the venue entrance, and waits nearby while the show runs — then picks everyone up the moment the encore ends, before the lot scramble begins. For summer amphitheater shows at The Astro in La Vista, the same logic applies on the southbound run. Call 402-973-1398 for a concert night quote.

Council Bluffs Corporate Event Transportation
Companies with campuses on both sides of the Missouri River — or hosting off-sites, client summits, and training days — routinely need to move groups between Council Bluffs and downtown Omaha or the Aksarben district without everyone driving separately. A corporate bus rental in Council Bluffs simplifies that. Minibuses seat 15 to 35 passengers with WiFi and power outlets at every seat, so travel time becomes productive time instead of commute stress on I-80.
For the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting weekend in May, when Omaha absorbs tens of thousands of visitors and downtown parking costs spike, a dedicated corporate shuttle between hotels near the Bluffs and the CenturyLink Center floor is one of the smartest logistics calls a company can make. Teams can coordinate together, arrive together, and leave on a schedule — not whenever the last person finds their rideshare. Call 402-973-1398 to discuss Council Bluffs corporate shuttle options.

Council Bluffs Private Event Transportation Services
Family reunions, church retreats, holiday parties, graduation celebrations — whenever your group needs to move together across the Council Bluffs–Omaha corridor, one bus keeps the itinerary on track. The riverfront area alone offers a full day: the Mid-America Center for an event, Lewis & Clark Monument, the Historic General Dodge House, and then across the bridge for dinner in the Old Market or a show at the Holland Performing Arts Center.
In August, the Iowa State Fair draws roughly 1 million attendees to Des Moines, but Council Bluffs has its own summer festival calendar that packs the riverfront. When the Bayliss Park summer concert series runs on Friday evenings, street parking near North First Street fills by 5 p.m. One charter bus for your group bypasses that entirely — dropped at the park, picked up when the set ends, everyone home without the post-concert parking shuffle.
Call 402-973-1398 to build your private event itinerary.

Council Bluffs Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season across the Council Bluffs Community School District and surrounding Pottawattamie County high schools runs late April through mid-May — a window when every party bus and minibus in the metro is spoken for. Demand spikes across both sides of the river simultaneously, and the groups that book in December pay considerably less than groups that call in March.
For prom: book by December or expect premium pricing and limited availability. A typical 6-hour prom rental covering school pickup, a photo stop at the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge or Lewis Central Park, venue drop-off, and an after-party return runs $1,800–$2,200 all-inclusive when booked early. Last-minute bookings in the same season routinely run $2,800–$3,500 or result in no availability at all.
We work with parent committees and student groups across Council Bluffs and the Omaha metro to lock in the right vehicle and timeline. Call 402-973-1398 now to secure your date.

Council Bluffs School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Teachers and administrators across the Council Bluffs Community School District count on dependable group transportation for field trips that cross into Omaha — and the most popular destinations are all there. Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium (3701 S 10th St, Omaha, NE 68107) is the metro's most-requested school trip destination, with bus unloading on South 10th Street near the main entry gate. The Durham Museum (801 S 10th St, Omaha, NE 68108) and the Joslyn Art Museum (2200 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68102) both accommodate school group arrivals with designated curbside drop-off zones.
Charter buses in our network offer cushioned reclining seats, climate control, overhead storage for backpacks and lunchboxes, and onboard TV monitors — a real improvement over traditional yellow school buses for groups that spend an hour or more on I-80 each way. Undercarriage bays keep gear off laps. ADA-accessible vehicles are available with advance notice.
Call 402-973-1398 to book school field trip transportation from Council Bluffs.

Council Bluffs Sporting Event Transportation
The sports calendar across the Omaha–Council Bluffs metro is busy year-round, and the river crossing makes game-day coordination a real logistical challenge without a bus. Charles Schwab Field Omaha (1200 Mike Fahey St, Omaha, NE 68102) hosts the College World Series every June — when downtown Omaha becomes one of the most congested patches of I-80 between Kansas City and Denver, parking lots around the Heartland of America Park fill hours before first pitch, and rideshare pricing doubles by the seventh inning.
CHI Health Center Omaha hosts Creighton Bluejays basketball with limited nearby parking on event nights. Werner Park (12356 Ballpark Way, Papillion, NE 68046) draws Storm Chasers fans south on I-80 on summer weeknights. For all of it, a Council Bluffs sporting event bus rental keeps your fan group together, drops everyone near the gate, and waits nearby for the post-game pickup — while everyone else circles the lot.
Call 402-973-1398 to book your game-day bus.

Council Bluffs Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Wedding venues in Council Bluffs and the surrounding Pottawattamie County area — including Honey Creek Resort at Arrowhead Lake and several historic properties along the bluffs — often sit well off the main corridors, with limited guest parking and no convenient rideshare coverage once the night ends. A wedding shuttle in Council Bluffs solves both problems: guests board from the hotel, arrive at the ceremony together, and return after the reception without anyone navigating dark county roads after open bar.
Because the Omaha metro has strong hotel inventory on both sides of the river, many Council Bluffs weddings have guests split between hotels on the Bluffs side and hotels in Omaha near the Old Market or the airport. A minibus loop between both clusters and the venue keeps everyone on the same timeline and nobody walking four blocks in formalwear. Our team has coordinated wedding shuttles across this corridor since 2011 — one point of contact from the first quote to the last drop-off.
Call 402-973-1398 for a free wedding transportation quote.

Council Bluffs Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The Missouri River valley and the loess hills just west of Council Bluffs support a small but genuine wine trail, and the Old Market in Omaha adds a full slate of craft breweries and bars within walking distance of one another once your group crosses the bridge. Soaring Wings Vineyard (17111 S 138th St, Springfield, NE 68059) is a popular group destination about 20 miles south, and the Old Market's cluster of craft options — Brickway Brewery & Distillery, Infusion Brewing Co., and Nite Owl on Howard Street — puts four to six stops within a walkable half-mile.
A Council Bluffs party bus rental keeps everyone together from the first glass to the last call, with no one worrying about who is sober enough for the drive back across I-480. The bus waits between stops, your group moves together, and the night ends with everyone home safe. No splitting up, no lost group members, no surge pricing at 1 a.m.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Council Bluffs Party Bus Rentals
How much does a party bus cost in Council Bluffs?
Council Bluffs party bus rental prices depend on vehicle size, your date, and how long you need the bus. Current ranges: 14-passenger Sprinter limos run $170–$344/hour; 15–20 passenger party buses run $204–$378/hour; 20–30 passenger party buses run $244–$414/hour; 35–50 passenger party buses and minibuses run $294–$490/hour; and 40–56 passenger charter buses run $150–$300/hour or $1,200–$2,500/day. Weekend dates and peak seasons — prom, the College World Series, Berkshire Hathaway weekend — see the highest demand.
The fastest way to get a number for your exact date is to call 402-973-1398 or use our 30-second online quote tool.
Can a party bus cross into Omaha from Council Bluffs?
Absolutely — crossing the Missouri River is one of our most common runs. Whether your group needs a casino night in Council Bluffs followed by a late-night stop in the Old Market, a concert at CHI Health Center after dinner on the Iowa side, or a corporate shuttle between a Council Bluffs campus and a downtown Omaha meeting, the Omaha–Council Bluffs metro is fully within our service area. Both the I-80 and I-480 bridge routes are straightforward for our full fleet, including full-size 56-passenger charter buses.
Which Council Bluffs casino properties can a party bus access?
All three major Council Bluffs casino properties — Harrah's Council Bluffs (1 Harrah's Blvd), Ameristar Casino (2200 River Rd), and Horseshoe Council Bluffs (2701 23rd Ave) — have dedicated commercial vehicle drop-off areas and surface lots that accommodate charter buses and minibuses without difficulty. We handle the approach, where to wait, and the pickup at each property so your group walks right in and walks right out. A casino night party bus rental is one of the single most popular trips we handle out of Council Bluffs.
Do you serve the Council Bluffs Community School District for field trips?
Yes — we coordinate field trip transportation for schools across the Council Bluffs Community School District and surrounding Pottawattamie County. The most common cross-river destinations are Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium, the Durham Museum, and the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha. We match the group size to the right vehicle, confirm pickup timing with your school coordinator, and handle drop-off at each venue's designated group zone.
ADA-accessible vehicles are available with advance notice. Call 402-973-1398 to start the booking process.
What is the best way to get a large group from Council Bluffs to the College World Series?
The College World Series at Charles Schwab Field Omaha in June is the single most congested stretch of the Omaha calendar. Parking lots around the stadium fill hours before first pitch, and the walk from most remaining available lots runs 10 to 20 minutes. A party bus or charter bus from Council Bluffs drops your group near the Heartland of America Park gate, waits nearby, and picks everyone up after the final out — while the rest of the crowd is stuck in the post-game I-80 crawl back to the river.
Book as early as possible for June dates: the CWS window is short and the fleet fills fast.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Council Bluffs events outside peak periods, two to four weeks of lead time is workable — but the better your options, the earlier you call. Book at least three to six months in advance for prom season (April–May), the College World Series (June), and Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting weekend (May). These three events drive metro-wide demand, and the right-size vehicles sell out well ahead of the date.
Prom in particular: a group that books in December locks in rates that are often $1,000 or more lower than last-minute pricing for the same night. Call 402-973-1398 today to secure your date.
Popular Council Bluffs Party Bus Destinations
Council Bluffs and the surrounding Omaha metro offer a strong mix of casinos, parks, historic sites, and riverfront destinations. The list below covers the spots we take groups most often — each with the operational detail that makes coordinating your trip easier.

Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel
Harrah's Council Bluffs (1 Harrah's Blvd, Council Bluffs, IA 51501) sits right off I-29 at Exit 8, making it the most straightforward casino approach from Omaha. The property has a large surface lot with dedicated bus and oversized vehicle parking near the main entrance — no permit required, and there is no pre-arranged check-in window to navigate. The casino floor runs 24 hours, and the hotel tower puts your group on site through the night if anyone wants to stay.
Bus drop-off at the main covered entrance keeps your group out of the Iowa wind. For bachelor and bachelorette groups, birthday nights, and corporate entertainment outings, Harrah's is the most logistically simple casino stop in the metro.
Phone: (712) 329-6000.

Ameristar Casino Resort Spa Council Bluffs
Ameristar Casino (2200 River Rd, Council Bluffs, IA 51501) is the largest of the three Council Bluffs casino properties, with a full resort that includes a spa, multiple restaurants, and an event center. The bus drop-off area sits on the east side of the building off River Road, with ample surface lot space for oversized vehicles. The property is built along the Missouri River bluffs, so the interior windows offer a view that Harrah's doesn't match.
For groups that want to spend the full evening — dinner, gaming, drinks, late-night — Ameristar has the most on one property. Book your stop into a multi-casino night itinerary and let the bus handle the moves between properties.
Phone: (712) 328-8888.

Horseshoe Council Bluffs
Horseshoe Council Bluffs (2701 23rd Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51501) is the newest and most compact of the Council Bluffs casino trio, rebuilt after the flood-era closures with a cleaner modern layout. Access is off 23rd Avenue near the Bluffs Run greyhound facility, and bus parking is available in the main surface lot without advance permit. The casino runs a tighter selection of table games and slots than Ameristar, which makes it a better fit for groups that want a quicker stop rather than a full-evening destination.
Paired with a Harrah's or Ameristar stop, it rounds out a complete Council Bluffs casino circuit — which is one of our most-booked party bus itineraries across the entire metro.
Phone: (712) 323-2500.

Mid-America Center
Mid-America Center (1 Arena Way, Council Bluffs, IA 51501) is Council Bluffs' own arena and convention facility, seating up to 7,200 for concerts and hosting trade shows, graduations, and sporting events year-round. The arena sits directly off I-80 at the 9th Avenue exit in Council Bluffs, making it the most centrally accessible large venue on the Iowa side without crossing the river. Bus drop-off is available on Arena Way, and the surrounding surface lots handle oversized vehicles without difficulty.
For graduation ceremonies, Harlem Globetrotters visits, and mid-market concerts, Mid-America Center is the group destination that keeps your group entirely on the Council Bluffs side. Check the official Mid-America Center event calendar before your visit for current load-in and parking configurations.
Phone: (712) 328-4630.

Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge
The Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge (Western terminus: Omaha Riverfront; Eastern terminus: Council Bluffs Riverfront) is a 3,000-foot suspension bridge crossing the Missouri River — the only pedestrian bridge connecting two states in the entire country. It has become a required photo stop for prom groups, bachelorette parties, and family reunions that want a landmark shot with a sweeping river view. Bus drop-off on the Council Bluffs side is available in the RiverFront trail lot off South 1st Street, with easy pedestrian access to the bridge approach.
The bridge is open dawn to dusk. It connects directly to the Heartland of America Park trail system on the Omaha side, making it a natural midpoint on a broader riverfront itinerary that includes both cities.

Historic General Dodge House
The General Dodge House (605 3rd St, Council Bluffs, IA 51503) is a National Historic Landmark — the restored 1869 Victorian mansion of Civil War general and Union Pacific Railroad builder Grenville Dodge, who effectively made Council Bluffs the eastern terminus of the transcontinental railroad. The house is open for guided tours and is one of the most architecturally intact mid-19th-century interiors in the Midwest. School groups from across the metro use it as a curriculum-connected field trip destination.
Bus drop-off is available on 3rd Street with street parking for vehicles along the adjacent residential blocks. Group tours require advance reservation through the Pottawattamie County historical trust. It pairs naturally with a visit to the RailsWest Railroad Museum (16th Ave and South Main) for a full-day Council Bluffs history circuit.
